No, not due to illness or anything like that. It was a wonderful, successful five years when I decided to take a hiatus from running the publication, playing editor as well as building the website from scratch. On the positive side, I will retain ownership of the exercisebowler.com domain name, and all poetry on the site will be archived indefinitely.<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
On the positive side, there is always the possibility that I will start a new online literary publication. I will say this much: I very much enjoyed the years I put into Exercise Bowler, I encourage those who have submitted in the past to visit the site and appreciate the work therein.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As always, an enormous thank you to everyone who made Exercise Bowler possible. I could not have done it without you! :)</div>

Where Angels Fly</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Forlorn</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
my home under the oak tree</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
lined with ivy and wisteria</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
the walls breathe alive with chirps</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
not crickets nor birds nor elves</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
tranquil brook surrounding the patch of
land</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
goldfish merrily swim beneath the hill</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
of uneven steep stairs</div>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
approaching the top where angels fly.</div>

A very big thank you to the poetry contributors of the first issue of Pixies of Eglantine! Since this is an annual publication - it will be published once a year on Midsummer - submissions are on a rolling basis, as with Exercise Bowler. Submission guidelines appear on the site, but right now, I hope you all enjoy reading Issue 1.<br />
